Across British Columbia, many citizens feel disconnected from the decisions shaping their daily lives. Families are struggling with rising costs, healthcare access is increasingly difficult, and many local communities feel their voices no longer matter within increasingly centralized political systems. BCFirst Assembly was created to support stronger local accountability, meaningful citizen participation, and long-term cooperation between communities across British Columbia.
BCFirst Assembly exists to bring ordinary British Columbians together around a simple principle: Local people should have a direct voice in decisions that affect their families, communities, land, services, and future. Indigenous families and non-Indigenous families share many of the same concerns: safe communities, economic opportunity, affordable living, healthcare access, honest government, and a future their children can build on. British Columbia is rich enough for all communities to prosper when governance becomes transparent, locally accountable, and citizen-centered.

Have a stronger voice in healthcare, land use, public safety, education, and economic development instead of relying on distant centralized bureaucracy.

British Columbia has enough natural wealth, talent, and opportunity for Indigenous and non-Indigenous families alike to prosper together for generations.

All institutions receiving public authority or public resources should operate with transparency, accountability, and equal standards of public scrutiny.
BCFirst Assembly supports locally accountable governance that strengthens communities instead of concentrating more power into distant centralized systems. We believe British Columbians can work together to improve healthcare delivery, public accountability, economic opportunity, infrastructure, and responsible stewardship of natural resources while preserving peaceful democratic continuity and equal treatment under law. The goal is not division. The goal is cooperation, transparency, and long-term stability for future generations.
British Columbia works best when local people work together instead of being divided against one another.
BCFirst Assembly is inviting British Columbians from every background to help shape a more accountable, locally grounded future. If you believe communities deserve a stronger voice, if you believe public institutions should be transparent, and if you believe British Columbia can prosper without dividing people against one another, we invite you to stay connected.
